My name is Laura Caine and I love working at St. Vincent Early Learning Center. One of the reasons I love working here is the way that we make a difference in the children’s and the family’s lives. We also get to watch children grow – some from 6 weeks to 5 years old.
Early Childhood Education has come a long way from the time that I attended Child Development classes in High School. I received my CDA (which is a certificate you can receive in Early Childhood Education) and my associate’s degree at Ivy Tech. I also have my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from St. Mary of the Woods. I am learning with the teachers and the children about the Reggio Approach. It is a new way (to our center) of helping the children engage and explore what they want to learn.
I love my family and it is so much fun to be a grandparent.
