Hello! I am Ms. Cindy, I teach toddlers here at SVELC. My entire teaching career has been spent teaching toddlers; I have a love and passion for the their age group. I love watching them learn and grow each day. Seeing their excitement and pride when they accomplish something new drives me to do my best and provide the best possible learning environment for the kiddo’s in my care.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Southern Indiana. I hold an Indiana State Professional Teaching License to teach children up to 3rd grade. I also have a Master Teacher Certification as well as a master’s degree in Education with a focus in Early Childhood Education from Ball State University. Having advanced degrees is important to me because it allowed me to continue my education and allows more insight into the growth and development of children as well as a deeper look into the methods of educating young children.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy reading and listening to music. I am involved at my church teaching Sunday school and various activities. I am a quiet person at first, but don’t rule me out, I quickly get comfortable and can be quite talkative.

In the time I have been with St. Vincent’s, this center has become my second home. The atmosphere is something I haven’t felt at any other center. Every staff member takes time to talk with the kids and the administration team are always welcoming when we make ourselves at home in their offices. I can’t imagine taking my children to any other center, SVELC truly is one big community.
