St. Vincent Early Learning Center is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, funded primarily through enrollment tuition, grants, and your contributions. Your generous support makes a daily and lifelong difference in the lives of children, families, and the community we serve – inspiring reverence, connection, and growth. Your financial gifts, in-kind donations, and volunteerism are essential investments in early education, helping our youngest citizens grow, learn, and succeed together today, into the coming years, and beyond. Thank you!
Philanthropy merits respect. We want our donors to have full confidence in us.
Learn MoreGift planning is charitable giving that’s coordinated with your philanthropic, financial, tax, and estate goals. Gift planning is for everyone. Effective planning with tax-wise gifting strategies enables you to provide immediate and long-lasting support for our youngest citizens’ education while enjoying financial benefits for yourself and your family. Consider supporting St. Vincent in the following ways:
Are you looking for a way to make a significant impact and help further our mission in the future? A bequest is a gift made through your will or trust. It is one of the most popular and flexible ways that you can support high-quality early childhood education at St. Vincent Ealy Learning Center. Let us know and become a valuable member of our 1918 Legacy Society.
A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) allows individuals who are 70 1/2 years old to reduce their taxable income by making their Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) or any gift directly from their IRA to a 501(c)(3) charity like St. Vincent Early Learning Center. Consult your financial advisor and/or IRA custodian. Let us know about the QCD so we can process it correctly. Thank you!
Donor Advised Funds give donors a great avenue to contribute tax-deductible gifts to a fund, see those funds grow tax-free, and support qualified charities with grants from your fund. This type of gift planning is available to anyone. It allows you to make gifts to a charity during your lifetime now, and your family can carry on your legacy of giving later.
For over ten years, we have celebrated National Read Across America Day, observed on March 2nd in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday. During our Literacy Week, which occurs before or after March 2nd, we invite dozens of community advocates, friends, and partners to read. Every child receives at least five books and several take-home activities. Each year, the week has a theme, such as nature or STEM.
Held on the 2nd Saturday of June at 8:00 am, our 5K run/walk and 1-mile family fun run/walk fundraiser is a great time for the whole family. You can sign up to participate and volunteer HERE – when registration opens. We have color powder, face painting, and a couple of food trucks to round out the event. Invite your friends and family; be or suggest a sponsor. If you’re unable to attend, donations are welcome. All proceeds support the high-quality early learning we provide to our community. See you in June!
International Mud Day occurs every year on June 29th. There’s no better excuse to squish, stomp, dig, and play—because mud isn’t mess, it’s magic. Let kids mix up muddy potions, build mud pies, or feel it between their toes. Simple, sensory-rich play like this is beneficial for their brains and their joy. We hold our mud day activities on the final Friday of June. We get dirty, have T-shirts made (thanks to our sponsors), and have fun. There are a few volunteer opportunities for family members, too.
