I have always been passionate about helping people. Early on in my life, I realized I wanted to direct that passion toward children. I tried teaching at a few other centers and figured out pretty quickly that it was not what I was meant to do. When the opportunity arose to work with SVELC in the kitchen, I knew it was the right spot for me. It is incredibly rewarding serving children and seeing their faces light up when we bring the lunch carts around. I have started to gain a relationship with some children through small interactions and they always make my day. I have also enjoyed getting to know the teachers and staff at SVELC, who are all amazing people. I have a dog and cat who are my world; if I’m not with them you can find me at Hobby Lobby on any given day looking for new things to craft. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me!
