Welcome to St. Vincent Early Learning Center! My name is Marybeth and I serve as an assistant director. The key responsibilities of my role are to coach educators, oversee assessments, and offer family engagement opportunities.

Before joining SVELC, I spent 13 years as a public school educator. Many of my years were spent teaching kindergarten; however, teaching third-grade math and science was my favorite. My undergraduate degree is in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Reading. In May, I will receive my graduate degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. Perhaps I will pursue a doctoral degree! That is yet to be determined. I’ve also taken courses in data analytics and Meta ads. Education is a significant part of my life. To this day, I enjoy being a student! I look forward to sharing my experiences, knowledge, and passions with our SVELC children, families, and staff and learning from all of them as well.

My free time is usually spent traveling, reading, exploring local places (Garden of the Gods, Hemlock Cliffs), watching sports, and going to concerts. A few personal goals of mine are to learn a second language and to add some stamps to my passport.

I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to serve at St. Vincent Early Learning Center. Thanks for checking out my bio!
